Playing with the painting....

So much for having a hidden wolf....I don't really know where I am going, playing with it right now.

"Waiting For Spring" is finished! Watch tomorrow night for the photographer's copy of it...it's always better than my photo! In the midst of a tumultuous day, a victory in completing this. Tomorrow it's back to "Tracks"....

Last night's progress...

This is as far as I got last night....and a bit this morning...that is supposed to be ice in the foreground, still haven't mastered that. It still isn't 'coming together' for me right yet....but it will eventually!

Waiting for Spring...

I went for a walk in the woods this morning to get inspiration for this - a fitting day for it, signs of spring (geese and ducks in pairs on the pond, birds singing) but then still patches of ice on the ground and the water....so I'm making progress on this today - it's still in the "rough draft" stage I think......

I picked some at "Tracks" today - still no tracks or wolf in it but there will be!
Started another also...."Waiting For Spring"...starring another one of my old wolf friends, "Smokey".

Today's progress....this painting is very time-intensive....it'll be some time before I accomplish its completion.
