A little mural change...

Image
I'm getting ready for this weekend's show and ended up with very little time at the mural today, only enough to begin the changes I wanted to make with the older fire truck, to move it forward. After the weekend show and two days of medical appointments I am looking forward to returning to make some serious progress.

Mural composition

This morning I changed the composition on the mural....I "erased" the fire truck on the left with white and began sketching it out larger, more forward in the painting and with correct perspective. I also sketched in a fire hydrant on the right which will be at the curb with the hose going to the truck and made the house a little taller. Waiting for the paint to dry so that I can continue it this afternoon....
These photos show it before and after....

This is Lucky, a dog I spent a day playing with in Vermont this past weekend....started his painting at a demo tonight.

Vermont

Just spent 4 days in Vermont....set up for 2 days near Mount Snow, spent the rest of the time exploring and did a study for a new moose painting....yes, those ARE moose prints, with fisher prints beside them! The trillium are in bloom and absolutely gorgeous!
