My newest feather painting....it's an antique black turkey feather, makes a great canvas!

After 2 days of dealing with other things, I am finally back to work....completed 3 commissioned feathers today.

I was away all weekend at an art show at the Glastonbury Audubon Center...a wonderful day Saturday, but spent Sunday digging trenches to keep the rain's water out of the exhibit space.....an "interesting" weekend for sure! I have a lot of medical things going on early this week but I did still make my way to the mural studio to play a bit....I am still waiting for that moment when I feel the composition and perspective are right and I can begin the details of the scene....I am gaining on it : )
