Having a challenging day with feathers, 2 already separated in crucial spots, had to trash them....finally one worked well enough!

A turtle....
Working on a turtle on a mushroom today.....while in my mind I am composing my next pastel painting.....it will be moose on Cape Breton.....named "Destination". Seriously multi-tasking here....
