I have named my painting...."La Mer"...."ocean" in French....it is definitely what this painting is all about....

This is as it looks on the easel right now...I will be away from Internet access later today until Monday night, so there won't be any updates until then....but there will be progress on the painting this weekend, will post it when I return!

I started this painting in the first days of October when I first arrived at Cape Breton....it was put aside, then, on my return to CT, I needed to spend my time in pursuit of immediate income. This evening I finally put that aside, out of spiritual necessity, and have returned to this painting and the passion that has been calling me to it....I also show my photo that I am using for reference, although I must admit I recall all of it clearly; I hear the crash of the waves.....
